Exploring The World of Wines
Many of the wineries have tasting rooms in which visitors are invited to learn
about the various wines and offer tours to teach guests about the winemaking
process. Some wineries host special dinners to demonstrate the pairing of wine
with food and they hold events such as concerts, dramatic readings and art
shows which are open to the public.
Call for the latest update of wineries that we visit. We can make arrangements to visit many wineries. If you have a vineyard that you are interested in seeing, please give us a call.

Buttonwood
Buttonwood Farm Winery is a small gem set amidst the splendor of Santa Barbara County's Santa Ynez Valley. Our 39-acre vineyard stretches across a sun-drenched mesa on the eastern portion of our 106-acre property. We started planting in 1983 and now have 33,000 vines, small in the world of wine, but huge to us.
Buttonwood's varietal mix of sauvignon blanc, semillon, marsanne, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and syrah reflects the preferences of owners Betty Williams and her son-in-law, Bret Davenport, for Bordeaux and Rhone style wines. As we expected, they grow perfectly in our warm, eastern Santa Ynez Valley location.

Sort This Out Cellars
Welcome to Sort This Out Cellars. Home of Good Times and Great Wines! Our winery is the quintessential example of the modern wine industry. We are a small producer of great tasting, fun wines that are reflective of our passion for wine, friends and good times. People always ask us, "Where is your winery?", "What types of grapes do you grow?", and the truth is we don't own our own wine making facility, and we don't grow any grapes. "How can that be?", you ask. Well...it's simple. The wine industry is exploding with micro producers, like us, who make wines in co-operative wine making facilities. We use several of these small co-ops including our main production facility located in, Templeton, California. Considering the cost of land and buildings, not to mention the issues at the city, county, state, and federal level with building a winery, it makes great sense for small wine producers like us to pool our resources and share facilities.

" CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU !!! Your efficiency is over-whelming and impressive!! "
—Bev
" Dear Mr. Meyer,
I would like to thank you for everything you did for Chris and Julie (July 14th wedding). They absolutely loved it, they commented it was the perfect ending to a wonderful day, I can't tell you how many thank yous I received from the bride and groom, so I could help relay their happiness to you. They liked the fact that they were able to be alone and be able to reflect on the day and have a breather for themselves they enjoyed the champagne very much and were very impressed with the red carpet and your sincere and kind way about you.
Thank you again for making their day!
Take care,
—Lea
